This site was a project to make a list of available skills per Dungeon Degenerate character, which then went a bit overboard. It is based on the card CSS renderering work done by Stephan Beal for his excellent Morbad Tools site. Corpse Burner

The Corpse Burner began life as one of the many orphans raised on the ghoulish grounds of the Necropolis - a land of ruined graves watched over by the Holy Order. The orphans of the Order were charged with digging up the dead & burning the flesh from their bones. Dreaming of the wonders of the outside world, the Corpse Burner started his own collection from the jewelry & gold teeth sent with the dead, saving a secret stash to one day escape his miserable lot in life & leave the Necropolis far behind... if only the stash had been as secret as he thought!

The Graveyard

The volatile vice and violence of Brüttelburg and the surrounding lands produces a constant stream of corpses. These end up in the Graveyard, a sprawling remnant of the Necropolis where underlings of the Holy Order ensure the dead are properly disposed of. Despite the large volumes the Graveyard never fills up, likely explained by the darker sides of the Holy Order's rituals and research.

Death Mask

A uniform for those who work within the sprawling Necropolis, worn by the grave monks & corpse burners of the Holy Order.
You are immune to Fear & Necro from the Undead (other Monsters with Fear or Necro affect you normally).

Burly

You may carry an additional Heavy󰁀 Item.

Haunted

Some unseen evil spirit follows you, tormenting you with nightmarish visions.
When the Danger deck is reshuffled, roll D6:

3: you become Suppressed
4: you become Demoralized
5: no effect
6: you become Focused

Draw a card from the Loot deck. If it is an Ally, Item, or Service, you may purchase it for normal cost (otherwise discard it).

QUICK ACTION:
If it is your first turn after entering a fight, you may roll an additional Power die when using a STR Attack this turn.

Forlorn Hope

While you have Wounds󰀄 equal to or greater than your CON, you have +1 STR & you are immune to Fear & Pain.

Inquisitor

Your attacks inflict +1 damage against Daemons & Heretics.

Intimidate

QUICK ACTION:
If you destroyed an enemy this round, choose a target Bandit or Heretic with XP󰀰 VAL 1 & make a MRL Test. If you pass & your highest single die is equal to or greater than the target's remaining HP󰀘, place the target in its discard pile.

Lurker

During a fight, you may skip your turn & act last; after all other adventurers in your party have taken a turn.

If another member of your party is also using this Skill/Mastery, agree who will act first or roll off.

Pigeon Friend

If you roll at least one 6 on any Power die, you may ignore damage from any single monster targeting you (if you are in Guard󰀔 stance you may still use the Power die to block damage from another monster).

Provoke

QUICK ACTION:
If you are not being targeted this round, attach this card to a monster in your space (place this card on that monster's card).

The attached monster must target you during the Establish Targets step.

Return this card to your hand at end of fight, or at the end of a round if the attached monster is removed from the fight or Provoked by another adventurer.

Rage

Your Attacks using STR inflict +1 damage against monsters that are targeting you.

Rebuke

COMBAT ACTION:
Choose a target Daemon or Undead with XP󰀰 VAL 2 or less & make a MAG or MRL Test. If you pass, the target becomes Hexed.

Rising Fury

QUICK ACTION:
If you hit a monster this round, make a STR Test. If you pass, inflict damage to that monster equal to the XP󰀰 VAL of a single trophy you have from this fight (not an Epic Monster trophy).

Scheming

Before resolving Arrival Abilities at the start of a fight make a PER Test. If you pass, you may resolve a free Attack or Combat Action on any monster targeting you (treat the monster as having an ATT of 0 during the free Attack).

Shieldwall

COMBAT ACTION:
If you have a Shield equipped, you may defend using STR this turn (in place of AGI).

Smell Trouble

At the start of a fight, make a PER Test. If you pass, you may discard any single monster card (including Law cards) in your space with XP󰀰 VAL lower than {PER Test}.

Street Rat

Roll 3 dice & use any 2 when you to attempt to Escape.

COMBAT ACTION:
Make a PER Test. If you pass, monsters cannot inflict Wounds󰀄 on you this round unless they have Pursue.

Strike Fear

At the start of a fight, make a MRL Test. If you pass, any Humans or Goblins with XP󰀰 VAL lower than your lowest single die become Dazed for the first round of the fight. If you fail, all Human & Goblin monsters will target you for the first round of the fight.

To the Front

If you are being targeted by 4 or more monsters, you may swap the value of any one Power die with any one Defence die.

Warding

When you take damage from a Daemon, reduce that damage by 1.

When you become Blinded or Suppressed, become Blessed.

Anatomy

At the end of a fight, you may make a MAG Test. If you pass, one adventurer in your party recovers 1 Wound󰀄.

Beer Magnet

Make a PER Test. If you pass, you may buy any Loot Item from the Discard pile that is both Alchemical & Food.

Contacts

Make a MRL Test. If you fail the Test & your highest die is greater than the Town Level, gain GP󰀆 equal to your lowest die.

Make a PER Test. If you pass, draw Loot cards equal to your lowest die. You may purchase one item & discard the rest.

Dauntless

You may use MRL for Force March Tests (in place of CON).

Gourmet

At the end of a fight, you may consume one Brute, Filth, or Goblin that your party destroyed. If you do, make a CON Test. If you pass, recover Wounds󰀄 equal to your lowest single die. If you fail, you become Poisoned.

Immunity

If you would become Poisoned, first roll D6. If your roll is equal to or greater than your Wounds󰀄, you are not Poisoned.

Iron Stomach

When making an attribute Test while using a Food item, you may roll 3 dice and use any 2.

Looter

When you make a Loot roll, roll two dice & use either result (ignore the other die).

Night Vision

When you make a PER Test to EXPLORE you may add the Moon Phase Value to your PER value.

Poetry

Choose a single Status Condition counter with a positive & negative effect (Exalted, Blessed, Focused or Invigorated). Make a MRL Test (add the Moon Phase value to your MRL value). If you pass, you gain the positive status condition. If you fail, you instead gain the negative status condition.

Preach

Make a MRL Test. If you pass, become Blessed & gain GP󰀆 equal to your lowest single die.

If you fail your MRL Test in a Law󰀴 space & your lowest single die is lower than or equal to the Town Level, become Detained or fight Law monsters equal to Party size.

River Rat

You may River Port Travel for free & other members of your party may River Port Travel for 1 GP󰀆 each.

Sticky Fingers

After Resolving your Recovery action, you may draw Loot cards equal to {AGI Test} or the Town Level (whichever is lower) & keep one (discard the others). If you fail your AGI Test, become Detained unless you pay a fine of GP󰀆 equal to the single lowest die (the single highest die if you are in a Law󰀴 space).

Streetwise

When you make a PER Test to Explore or Hunt, roll 3 dice & use any 2.
